I need to see this, If I wasn't racing this weekend, I'd be tempted to come just to see that!

Seeting up sales area has to be finished by 5:30 on Friday. I'm hoping to be done before that to leave a little time to find this bar you're all on about. I'll be the bloke behind the tables at Shibui Bonsai sales area most of the weekend while you all enjoy the speakers, demos and workshops.

The Exhibition and Sales area is only open to the general public on the Saturday and Sunday. For Convention registrants, you will be able to view the exhibition at the Friday Cocktail party if registered for that. If the sellers are still there on Friday evening then you might be able to purchase, but more likely you will have first access on Saturday morning before the general public.

Gonna try and sponge info over lunch and hopefully it'll help me buy a good bonsai!

Hi Vinh,
Those people who are registered to attend the convention will have lunch catered for them, I guess about 12.00 or 12.30. The display will be quiet beforehand but when people emerge from the lecture theatre many of them will be heading straight to the display and sales area which will get very busy for about an hour. It is the best time to catch up with people but also a hectic time.

The venue is new, I am a local and have never been inside. If there is more than one choice ask the staff which one is the

Bruce - last time I was in Melbourn I found hot apple cider. Maybe that could be an alternative to hot chocolate??

It's simply the closest one. Unless it is real expensive and there is another choice within the venue.

Looking forward to it but I wont be holding that Juniper for long! It will be held for about 10 seconds between the car and the trolley!
