I like this a lot. Should look great in Autumn with those red tones . pot combo and colour awesome :tu: :tu:

Makes a great bonsai after a few years of growing. It is important to keep trimming the long shoots that try to ground layer all through the summer - if you allow these to establish the main tree will suffer and weaken. Old bonsai of these have interesting ramification that looks good in the winter too.

Thanks Matt. It took a great deal of persuasion to get it into this pot.

It'll be interesting to see how this ramifies. I certainly won't be letting the shoots grow so long again. :fc:

I didn't really do much to this over summer, but it has rewarded me with some brilliant Autumn colour.
