finally got around to a recent pic, had the day off since it is sooo nice .25 today and down to 8 tonight :tu: spent most of the day in the bonsai area, pruning ,weeding and repotting some figs long overdue. it stands about 107cm and just had a tip prune, growth had extended 15cm since i last did less than a month ago.

So last night i decided it was time to give the tree some branch placement and a trim,

The tree didn't lose a single needle from the repot :yes: .

You have done a lovely job on this tree Craig. Being a deodar they need to be fed and pinched constantly to achieve dense foliage pads

Thanks very much Craig, it hasn't come up too bad at all. I feed it quite often and pinch when needed at the moment, cheers mate :beer:

Update for very early Spring.

I removed most of the wires leaving some on the smaller branches and then used a "borrowed" technique, 3 pieces of brown string to gently hold ALL branches down .This was done instead of rewiring the Cedar branches,

That is some very serious work there mate all the twisting of the twine, is paying off, nicely.
