Looking forward to getting a pot. Hope to see potter at our meeting next week.
Had to start work on the dead wood as it was ruining the tree every time I looked at it. It is much lighter now but still a couple of spots not quite right, but I am happy with the flow of the wood now. Had fun doing this one, as it's the first time in a while I have been in my own workshop.
Thanks for sharing.

Been having a play with Gimp and practicing the copy and paste bit with adding foliage and put some extra growth on the Juniper. Shows what it will look like with time and tip pruning.

Well it's not the pot I really want for it, but it was time to root prune the tree as it had not been done for many years before I got it. The tree was shooting and because of the major job I anticipated, I wanted to do it prime time.

Couldn't believe the amount, and length, of roots. Took a fair while to untangle, but just what it needed. Of course most got cut off.

I still plan to commission a pot from a local potter, but this will do for now. Never been to fussed on the printed pots, but at least the picture is nice.

Definitely like this photo as it is sitting on one of my benches. Just need to grow the foliage now. Loving the impression the roots give of clinging to a cliff.
