Thanks Gerard!
I really enjoyed looking through these pics. You guys put on a great exhibition with a very high standard of tree. :tu:
There are quiet a few that I recognise from progressions here on AusBonsai too.

Oh gosh, now THIS is the branching placement and structure layout that I want to get in my trees. I could look at this thing till i dropped dead from starvation. Gorgeous.

Hi jozeah
This is my favourite tree!!!! Even the owner rates it probably as his best and he has alot of incredible trees. I have sat in front of this tree and enjoyed its remarkableness. I love it.

For those who would like to know more about the tokonama.

The tree: "ulmus procera" or english elm

The scroll: painted at the last minute, I believe the translation is "autumn breeze"

The accent: a fallen autumn leaf
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Ow wow David, at least we've got good taste! It must be a sight to behold in person. If you ever know of a HQ photo of this tree online somewhere (i don't know if the owner has a flickr or another photo site) I would grab it in an instant to help me with my trees styling.

see ya,
Jozaeh
