Scots Pine - help needed

One comment from me: You may want to consider a bit of rubber or padding of some sort between those wires and the edges of the pot. I'd hate to see that lovely pot chip with the pressure from the wires!

It has been quite a while since I posted an update on this tree. I have done some work on the jins, brought the "hanging branch" a little closer to the trunk, but it still needs some more. The first branch on the left has now been converted to a second hanging branch, to match the other side. Some work still needs to be done on the apex, but converting the right branch to the apex, and converting the old apex to the left branch appears to have been successful.
I have bought two new pots for this tree (I can't help myself) and in mid-spring I will make a decision on which pot, and then the re-potting process will be done.
Still a few more years to go before beauty can be achieved, but I think it is now on the way.

Watto, i haven't seen the insiration tree but i'm sure it's going to look great, if the lower branches ever die off i see a very nice bunjin in the trunk and apex. Nice work restoring it's health

Hi Watto been looking at bonsai pictures on the net today an found this one which reminded me of your scots pine has a branch with the curve like yours sort ill post it here for you

Thankyou Olivecrazy, that is the sort of inspiration I need. The first branch is still a little "fluffy" but I left it like that to get some growth and strength.
