Hi Scott,

It survived all the bending no problem and put on adequate although not rampant spring growth.

I haven't done anything else yet such as carving, more bending or reduction of even more branches. That will take place from about late spring this year and into 2012.

It has been in the current pot for quite a few years without a repot so I may do that in early autumn.

Beginning bonsai I was too afraid to touch a tree and with a lot of my trees under construction I decided to live with the flaws. Today the nervousness is gone and I cut or grow away the flaws while the tree is still under construction.

With almost finished trees I live with the flaws because of sentimental :whistle: reasons.

I like the virt showing the direction you want to take the tree in.

Looking forward to an update.
