Re: AABC Fremantle 2011
Have arrived in Fremantle and ready to start the bonsai party!
Plan on heading in to Kings Park tomorrow if any others would like to join us. Would like to check out Perth Bonsai Nurseries but the distances look to be against us!
I am guessing they will be trading at the convention over the weekend.

Re: AABC Fremantle 2011
Just out of interest; who else from the Ausbonsai Network is in Perth for this weekend's activities? Planning on being in the Lounge Bar at The Esplanade Hotel at 5.30 (pm) Thursday afternoon for others who would like to meet up for a beverage!!!
Come along and say
... am sure that we can get a fun group into drinking, eating and social interaction.

Hey Andrew

See you soon mate.
Would love to catch up with other Ausbonsaiers that are going.

Re: AABC Fremantle 2011
Sounds like a plan Tony, although I am making an effort to tidy my act up after last year. Am booked in for Lo's Early Morning Critique on Sunday so might pace myself a bit better
on Saturday night! That gives me a few days to prepare and I am are that Kym James will be able to help me get the show cracking with bevies on Thursday night.
Would like to appear at this year's Convention much earlier than 14:00 on Sunday ... and be a little less
!
See you Friday

Andrew as far as I know only one nursery will be at the site for the week end but I believe there will be plenty to buy.andrew ward wrote:Will have a chat with Philip. Am sure we can lend a hand.![]()

Janet Selby will be here with her pots, there will be suiseki, and stock trees as well as established ones on sale.
Its a pity you did not say sooner, as you could have come for lunch and help me with the bigger trees, as the old body struggles a bit with the larger trees.
See you tomorrow, cheers Pup

I do know what you mean Andrew, but I can handle them easy, and they do not take as long to develop as the bigger ones.
Cheers Pup

Re: AABC Fremantle 2011
Have been in for a treat with a fantastic range of ficus species around Fremantle. For those missing out on being in Perth, just thought you should know how BRILLIANT is the weather.
Clear blue skies, sun is shining bright, genuine tanker weather! Just treated to dolphins at the mouth of The Swan River!
