Even if it takes a lifetime it will be worth it. You can always bring it in at our workshop on the 25th.
Cheers mate.

I cannot believe its been 3 years since I worked in this tree with Hiro. Since then, not much has been done to tell the truth. Mostly recovery and regrowth. As you can see, it's put on quite a bit of foliage since then.
I was lucky enough to work on this one with Ryan Neil on the weekend. It was the first time I have been given really good tuition on deadwood creation. Ryan learned deadwood from Mr Kimura, so if there's anyone who can teach me deadwood technique, it'd be Ryan Neil above all!
The workshop was mostly deadwood for me. In the last 40 minutes, we wired up the main branches and put them into place.
I've done a bit of wiring over the past few days, about another month of fine wiring and it should be done!
So here's a photo for then/now comparison.

It was great to see this material in the flesh mate! For those who haven't seen it, it's very impressive.
Thanks for updating, was very eager to see how the tree turned out.looking forward to the complete wiring!!!

I'm happy with where this one is headed. I'll definitely keep updating. It will definitely take some time since it's such a big tree
