Having said all of this, the biggest thanks must go to Mr. Hirotoshi Saito. Amazing, Humble, Warm, Understanding, Versatile, Engaging are just some words to describe him. He is an artist in the true sense of the word, yet he is an educator of the highest order. His understanding of how to work a room and make every moment count, for everyone, with very little english is truly amazing!!! One of our pet sayings this week has been "Hiro Magic" Everytime he put pen to paper and gave a tree hope, thats what it was. Hiro magic. He is the total package that stands out way above the rest.

You are correct on all points Ant he is a teacher of the highest order. You know the first time he came here it was by default, we were supposed to get Mr Kato from Omiya. He couldn't make it so they sent Hiro and he has been coming ever since. Long may it last.

It was a terrific week. However it will not keep happening if more members do not take a more active role in their club.

Could not agree more, no good comming along once and think you know it all, you will learn more from club members and work shops in a short time than going it alone. AND DONT FOFGET THE OLDER MEMBERS OF CLUBS WILL PASS THERE TREES ON TO OTHER MEMBERS.

John yes they will although in my case you will have to buy them

. What has been noticeable with the trees brought forward to work on in the workshops.
Is the amount of what some would consider finished trees

. When you have the chance to work with some one of the calibre of Hirotoshi Saitoh. He will give you a very good future design, so it is important that we realise as has been pointed out.
That we need to keep bringing this man to Australia. Not just to Victoria and Western Australia, but to Australia. He is not as well known here as some of the others from Japan, but he is held in high regard in his home country.
As has been seen by the trees for the future here, he can work with just about any thing, and at any level. He has an expertise that has to be admired, when he can make some one who is physically shaking and about to throw up, ( yes it happened here with a new chum ) feel totally relaxed and talking about what she hoped she could do with his help. She achieved it and went home a very happy camper.
So as you can see I am a great fan of Hiro's as I know what he can do. Cheers
