There are numerous threads on diatomite on this website so do a search.

Also search for potting mix trials etc.

The Diatomite in hydroponics stores were too large; 15mm plus.

Get Maidenwell or Mt sylvia Diatomite in 2mm to 6.4mm approx.

Yes Coir fibre comes in bricks that swell up in water.

The mix above is roughly what I am using for everything except azalea where i use Kanuma.
