the top is in a mix of chopped spahgnum and straight akadama, thats all i had on hand.
both will be put in the hot house and just wait.

Im not sure that you can call the area between the 2 red lines taper. certainly not good taper. also the circled areas present issues. At the price strawbs has paid this is the best out come. The first few inches was worth the price for its girth. In fact it was cheap.

My elasiticas have leaves 25cm long and 15cm wide, and the plants are only 40cm high! I don't think yours are elasticas, strawbs. JMHO

just repotted n worked on this 1 today, the bottom of the chop did not survive but the top did.

gday guys, yes the bottom half did not make it, it never put out any shoots what so ever, both were in the same mix and the top just had
a bit of hormone powder put on the cut, oh well still got part of the same tree. im happier with this 1 than the base.

but Im sure the existing top part will come good

Its stange the bottom didnt survive they are normally indistructable?
