Thank you all for for your good thoughts and well wishes. It feels good to be involved with so many like minded people who give a damn. The end result is a lot of broken branches on trees(i do not believe how the wisteria escaped) it was between the two main trunks that fell :o and the branches, read huge, were resting in its foliage and only minor damage ensued. The elm has had major surgery and i believe will thrive. Major damage was pots, shadesails, benches and probably Arborist fees. Estimates are 3-4 grand plus two days hard work cleaning up. I am glad that is now out of the way and 2010 has been heralded in with a stack of firewood ready for winter  May your 2010 be fortuitous and your trees become showstoppers :D

Great to hear you still in good spirits and looking positive about the bonsai.
Maybe save that firewood for the winter after this - Wood takes quite a while to dry properly and burning green wood only clogs up the chimney and leads to chimney fires.
All the best,
Shibui
