BTW that was the pot it came out of and it was chockers with roots. I also did 2 Casuarina littoralis and 2 Agonis flexuosa- although I didn't take as much roots on them. All back out in full sun. I did thin out foliage but left growing tips on all of them.

Note this is all well and good for the southern states, but is there any consensus about how to deal with natives in SE Qld where we get about 20 mins of frost and temps only get down past 10 occasionally?
It was 34deg here in ipswich yesterday so I would assume that my Mel would be acceptable to a repot?
