Very nice curves. I really hope it pulls through well. I did not have a lot of luck with collecting them when obtaining a reasonable size root-ball is not possible.

No luck on any of the later five plants I dug, but the first has pushed out a few tiny leaves. I think we're beyond the point of stored energy so I'm tentatively going to call this one a success (but I won't uncross my fingers just yet).

Might be a good idea to give it a greenhouse effect to minimize moisture loss from those fine leaves as it didn’t have a root system.

Looks great. My leaves are curled and wrinkled for some reason when they bud out.
