2 week growth. Damn they grow quick!
A little concerned about the reverse taper. I'm told it will correct itself over the years.

Reverse taper will not correct if you leave lots of shoots growing from that spot. Several shoots from one place is what first caused the thickening. Safer to remove all unwanted shoots whenever they appear unless you need something to thicken the trunk.

Update after my first growing season.
Leaves are all mature and have hardened, branches have thickened, few smaller cuts are almost done healing, bark forming on the main trunk on left.
I’ve cut majority of my sacrifice branches off besides the one supporting healing at the rear and thickening of the right trunk.
I’m still concerned about the right side, if my vision of double canopy will work or not. Thoughts off ground layering at the section where it has reverse taper has also played in my mind.
For an even smaller twin or triple trunk in future.
