Hey mate,
Nothing wrong with those trimming scissors or concave cutters, but I don't think those wire cutters will be suitable as they are made to cut up to 1mm copper and 2mm aluminium as a maximum, product description
here. I would have chosen the
No.22A (up to 2.3mm copper and 3.5mm aluminium) or the
No. 511 (up to 5mm copper and 6mm aluminium).
There is a small table on the wire cutter page with the main tools and their recommended wire cutting capabilities.
Have you also ordered a crean mate?

I have already made my order. You know, I did see that table and looked at which wire cutter to get, but now that you've mentioned it, I've bought cutters based on having large enough handles to fit my hands. I have really large hands and I wanted to get tools to suit.
I might send them an email tonight asking if I can amend my order. Hopefully they'll get it in time.

I just received an email telling me they've sent my tools... They're very efficient!
I've sent a reply email asking if it would be possible to exchange wire cutters for the right one. Here's hoping.
Thanks Jarad for spotting that one for me!!

Within the time frame of about 30 minutes, I have been able to organise for my mistake to be fixed and have the right tool sent in exchange. Their service is impeccable!!
I really do have to thank Jarad again for spotting my mix up.

No worries at all mate, I'm glad I could help.
They have incredible customer service, they know that once they hook you the first time you'll keep going back... and recommend others.
If you don't have one lying around, I would recommend getting a medium size toolbox to keep your bonsai tools and wire in.

They've arrive!! I can hardly believe that I have been able to receive these in 3 business days from Japan, yet I'm still waiting on some tubestock I ordered 4 days prior within Australia.

I'm going to order a canvas tool roll and some Crean Mate from Kaneshin this week to keep the tools in good order. I've got myself a toolbox to store everything in.

Well that is great service. I need to wait a bit more before I can order mine. I'll need a bigger tool box as well, cause I'm running out of room in mine.
