I pruned and wired up this tree today. I also made a drastic decision to cut off one of its main branches. I feel it looks much better now. I’m also considering changing the planting angle so the it leans forward more toward the viewer. I’m planning on ground layering this at repot time this year, the base continues to be disappointing! I’m also thinking it needs a different pot.

Uhhhhhh I killed it accidentally. I have already replaced it though. Looking forward to not making the same mistake. They are very tough but they aren’t bomb proof.
