Here is some progress on this tree.
So after not listening to treemans
Advice, and bending this tree I did kill it. :plam:
On the up side I do have 5 cuttings that did survive.







Have cut them back a few times over the growning season and put some good bends in them.
As soon as I develop a grow bed I will put them in the ground. Until then might put them in bigger pots and spread the roots out, when is the best time to repot? When they are slowing down or when growth is speeding up?

Well it's going to take a long time to develop these now.
But I will keep going with them as I do really like the look of the lepto. And update as they develop into something.

I root prune mine in Oct, Nov or Dec. Root pruning does not depend on growth or dormancy, just warmer weather.
You should be able to repot any time if you just spread out all the roots without cutting too much off.
You will need to be careful if you put these into the ground. It does not always sprout on old wood so you'll need to prune regularly to keep foliage closer to the trunk and bases of branches.

Update on the three cuttings that have survived from this tree.
They are all shaping nicely, all a little different to each other.
Still haven’t developed a grow bed, so they have gone into slightly bigger pots for now, still need to do root work... I forgot this year

Those are developing quite well but till a long way to go so plans and designs will probably still adapt as they grow.
Nice neat wiring but it look like some wires might be getting a bit tight? With young' vigorous trees like these you should be able to remove wires after just a couple of months.
