Ok guys . I took your advice and lifted the box , there was a few small roots but I think they belonged to weeds.
Its good that summer is over and there shouldn't be many warm days left this season. :fc:

I was thinking of giving this tree a fungal treatment .
Can anyone recoment a product to use
Also do fulgal treatments have any negative effects on trees as I don't want it to kill this tree.

What about Fongarid, or maybe diluted lime sulphur

The more I think about this tree the more I'm convinced it's got a fungal issue . I was always soaking the leaves and the clusters of leaves are very dence without ventilation . It will get a spray with lime sulfur this winter . I will look for a broad spectrum fungiside this weekend
