Well this is an old one. A lot has happened since the last update. I layered the top half. Sold the bottom half. Started styling the top half as cascade. Changed my mind. Took more foliage off. Lastly about 2 weeks ago I cut about 70% of the roots off and put it in a small pot. You may recognise the part of the tree that is left. :lol:

Here’s Bougy. Do you recognise the pot I bought it at the ausbonsai market day from Samarkand pottery. The walls are a little thick but I like the finish. I’ve never been 100% happy with a pot match up yet but this one is getting closer.
I still have my fingers crossed for its survival. It was a pretty hard prune to get it in this pot.
