Hi Lynette,
I do find diatomite a drier mix but it is easy to wet and rewet and no root rot problems as with finer mixes. Its a great component.
Don't use too high a % ; no matter what you hear.

				Hi crew, can anyone recommend somewhere in Sydney where one may purchase diatomite? I've found a place that sells pumice, so want to experiment.

				We're do u get pumice? . You can get diatomite from Enfield produce at Sydney's inner west.  its 25 or 30 bucks for a huge bag.
