Re: B.S of W.A Exhibition
Well, I don't know about that (by crickey) but I can report that there were plenty of Pup's amazing trees, big and little, to be seen.John Henry wrote:Pup is one of the richest men in the west i think he was Lan Hancocks Younger Brother
I learnt quite a bit looking at the displayed trees, both the show stoppers and the in-a-few-years trees. I'm really jealous of the person who managed to get a Leptospermum scoparium to survive - they tend to die every time I root prune them.
Quite late in the day when I arrived but quite a good crowd, including lots of non-bonsai people going "WOW!" (a group of Serious Young Hipsters were Seriously Appreciating(tm) a group planting near the main entrance at one point).
Got away without spending too much - some beautiful pots from potters I don't normally see, plus everything from starter sticks to Real Bonsai for sale.
The club members (inc President and VP) were present in number and were happy to chat to all comers.
Great show!
Looking forward to May...

Re: B.S of W.A Exhibition
Looks like I'm a little late to post these. I had my young boy (23months) along with me for the day so things were fairly rushed. I'll just post a few that haven't been shown yet. Sorry about the picture quality as my skills are next to none
Cheers!
Anthony

Re: B.S of W.A Exhibition
Thank you for those Banksia, they are much appreciated.
We have just received notification from the Telethon foundation, that the contribution made from the weekend amounted to $2,994-45.
Which is a fantastic effort both by the members and the public of WA, we still managed to cover our expenses and make a slight profit.
So to all who supported us a HUGE thank you.
