Just a reminder on Minis.
Grow pot, then show pot. We are allowed some leeway in depth and length, but not to over the top.

I think it's awesome!
So what's with privet? Is it like catching a catfish when fishing - i.e. you loose points for it?
Any updated pics? I'm very keen to start a lil one like this, maybe using a Japanese buxus or a murraya pan.

That is a very nice looking little tree

in a lovely pot.

I have just read that the Privet is a good tree for the novice, that would be me could be my next purchase.
