Darling, the large growing pots are from concrete, that is why I sealed them.

Probabaly should have enlarged them & it would have been more obvious.... personally the only good use I can see for concrete is recycling old stuff to build my gardens, it is an extremely polluting product to make, lasts wayy too long in the environment & is used way too much in this age...
I am getting more & more into my pottery (not just bonsai pots either) and the wealth of old knowledge across the traditional peoples of so many parts of the world make our modern ways seem pathetic by comparison, might be something you could look into for your own growpots & then no need for chemical sealers (cost to buy, more evironmental damage in production, transport etc etc etc) & returning money to your local economy instead of some multinational a$$hat who doesnt care about anything except his bonus for making a nice fat profit each year is for me a win win

Hi Matt, I used to have a pottery wheel long time ago...and built my self a kiln...I used to improvise and mix my own glaze mixtures...and used fire wood for the kiln...I think it is equally polluting and wasteful. Plastic containers last 1-2 years and I throw them away...more waste...this ones will last me for long time since I shall reuse them many times. So I guess in the long run they shall be OK.
There is lady that makes pottery...I arranged that I shall go and make my own pots and she will bake them for me...
Thank You Ken!
Wanted something different in the new plot...and what is best for the Koi.

absolutely gorgeous!! Having worked as a commercial breeder of African cichlids and SA angelfish...I love working with fish.
Always wanted to work with Koi, but alas, I don't have the space or the money to give it a real go!

Koi are just as big a disease as bonsai...lots of maintenance...expenses...I have a sick fish now...injections every day...heart break and headaches.
You are better off without them Trust me on this one.
Thanks!
