Hackimoto wrote: May 25th, 2012, 11:26 pm Here is copy of an article that I wrote in 1987 for the Koreshoff magazine "Bonsai Australia" which was the magazine for the "Bonsai Society of Australia" back in the 70s and 80s. Hope a few of the tips on developing buttresses and banyan style are of use to some of the forum members. Looks a bit blurry when I view it on "preview" If you can't read it I can email it or maybe someone who knows how can make the print bigger as I can't because of the size restrictions on this forum.
Hello, can I share your article on polish bonsai group?

This article is GOLD for me!
So new to all of this that i have so many ficus around the back yard including 2 that i got named Cassowary Poo Mystery Ficus. Guess where they were found. Banana, sandpaper, curtain and more. i have 3 that were in pots 18 years ago and they have not moved for the back. Their roots have now grown under then house and i am hoping that i can cut them out with not too much death. Now to download, read, read some more. I just want them started now but have to remember that patience is the word for Bonsai lovers. Must get some, patience that is!
Awesome share Hakimoto.

Hello everyone.   This is a very late response as I have not been able to access the forum for several years as nothing I tried would work. I finally regained access by getting a friend to register under my name on his computer so here I am. Of course I don't mind anyone sharing this ancient article as the sharing of knowledge is very important to me. :D :D :D
