Be careful with the confidor, you can overdo it.. yates has spoken to me about the tablets, particularly in concern to bonsai. they suggest sticking to correct dosage, and overdosing does more harm than good... I contacted Yates about thier product not working on a tree that later turned out to be suffering rust, not insect issues. I can recommend taking photos of the damage and emailing it in. they have links on thier page

as I asked in the other thread----is airlayering above ground height then discarding the base not a solution ?
