Thanks for the answers.
I'll get them in the mail tomorrow.
By the way, jetstar offered a return Osaka/Melbourne fare for around $800 in November last year.

Thanks for participating winners. Thanks for your comments.

Jarrod,

The thought of seeing the greatest bonsai artist of all time ( Masahiko Kimura) presenting to a group of the worlds most dedicated artists is compelling. I wouldn't mind being in Takamatsu this November.

Generally, I prefer my bonsai to be more spontanious than organised bonsai enables.

My interest In Takamatsu 2011 is driven by my belief that this is the worlds most creative and sustainable bonsai community. I support ASPAC 2011 on that basis.

Still undecided.

Cheers

Lindsay

Thanks for this Lindsay, its great!

I like your thoughts on spontaneous bonsai however I prefer the organised and structured bonsai that the Japanese create. But our differences in opinion are one of the things that make bonsai so interesting.

After visiting Takamatsu last year i have to whole heartedly agree that Kinashi and surrounding areas has the most sustainable bonsai culture in the world. It was an amazing place to visit and i hope my journey will lead me back there again.

Glad you like them.
There's a map on the back that shows the bonsai nurseries in Kokubunji. There's a bunch of them.
