I have just shortened the branches, to two nodes and I am waiting for it to shoot so I see what can be done with it, after it back buds..

iT IS NOT DOING WELL IN THE SAND....Dont laugh...I planted it back in loose soil/compost in the packet...Want it to recover...and then I shall bury the packet in the ground.
It does not want to shoot! Maybe it will in spring. I have never used this plant before...It is an indigenous plant and there is no info what so ever on the net. I like it because it has tiny leaf and develops this fantastic bark even on very young branches...it starts like pimples of bark and spreads. It was also very cheap. Lets hope it will start growing soon. I might do exposed root from it, so I arranged the roots very nicely. At list so far it is alive. I planted the cuttings from it...in the same packet...it looks like they are growing. I just stuck them in the soil.
