Ficus coronata

I was surprised to find this sandpaper fig in my local park which is on the edge of the Warriewood wetlands.

It is always good to see a species growing naturally, I know now why they are referred to as Creek Sandpaper figs as this tree is 2 meters from the creek and the water level 400mm below ground level. This is very constant as there is a weir keeping the water at this level.
It is obvious that they like wet feet so I now have a tray under mine.
