Hi All,
I'm on the hunt for some pots to suit a couple of JBP I have that are starting to look look pretty good (to me at least).
Do any Melbourne locals know of a good place to peruse pots?
I've had a look at what Trevor and Tien have on offer, but nothing there jumped out at me. Next stop is Collector's Corner I guess!
Preferably Melbourne east side.
Thanks!

Have a look at Bonsai Island’s website. You may be able to arrange a visit (near Phillip island). Lots of good local potters online too, who may be able to design something to fit what you’re looking for.
Yes, the username is misspelled: no, I can’t change it.

Re: Pots in Melbourne
I'm not completely sure what will be available, but in past years there has been a fairly decent range of pots on offer at the Bonsai Northwest show. It's coming up in about a month I think.
Elaine from Bonsai Island pretty consistently has a spot there to sell her stuff, if you check out her website and find a pot you like I know she can make sure to have it with her for you to look at, or you can buy it and pick it up from her there to save delivery cost etc... I'm sure there will be pots from other vendors to check out too, and it coincides pretty nicely with the JBP repot window.

Re: Pots in Melbourne
Not in Melbourne but Grant at Canberra Bonsai Studio has a large range of quality Japanese bonsai pots. Not sure if he ships but worthwhile asking as he has some great items.
