This big trident (pretty much a garden tree in a pot) seems to colour nicely in the Sydney climate. Real bright yellow when the suns on it.Even an airlayer I took from it coloured nicely.

None of my other tridents have coloured like this. But to be fair I’ve only had some tridents in my collection the last couple of years.

Last weeks low overnight temps in the East (as low as 2 degrees) brought out some nice colours in the maples.
I don’t recall ever seeing such colours in the deciduous trees around here before.
A trident I am currently ground growing also some nice colours but not worthy of a pic.
