Hi guys,
Though I would share some photos of a callistemon I collected about 6-7 years ago.
Collected with a rope and pulls system, the rope being a load strap and the puppy being my navara.
I repotted a few weeks ago after about 5 years (I only slip potted previously as the colander fell apart).
Picture of reporting, fine feeder roots and the before and after of the tree as it is today.

Nice work. The old bottlebrush make great bonsai in my opinion.

Re: Callistemon carving and repotting
Thanks mate, detailing carving still to go, I’ll be removing that front branch too, just leaving it for now for the bigot of the tree.
Constantly pinching our new growth to encourage backbudding, once the carving is done I’ll be wiring in some initial structure to work with.
