When is the best time of year to collect eucalyptus?
I have the opportunity to collect a few from a friend's house I'm just wanting to give them their best chance for survival.

Re: Eucalyptus collection
I have usually collected eucs late spring after the weather warms up a bit. Most, but not all have survived transplant though whether that is due to timing or technique I can't say.
I've also dug a couple later in summer or autumn more deaths then but the sample is probably too small to be able to give any accurate guidelines for that time of year.

Re: Eucalyptus collection
Late spring . Keep the water up to them . I have found the moment you let them dry too much they sulk to the point of losing them . Which once they start sulking you might be better off losing them .
