A couple of weeks after a hard prune but you could leave it longer. For a normal repot mine go straight back to their usual position, mostly full sun. Make sure its stable.

After final trim and thin out. Ready for summer and autumn growth, will probably be trimmed another couple of times this year.

Until the new smaller leaves start coming it will still be a bit rough.

The tree has gone ballistic again, Look at all the new growth points coming and elongating.

Got to be one of the easiest species to grow ever.

If you still want to know more about banksia, Grant will be doing a demonstration/talk on these natives at Bonsai by the Harbour in Sydney at Gladesville on the long weekend in June.
