Can someone please tell exactly what type of Banksia this is?

It is Banksia serrata. the trunk hasn't started to thicken yet.

I was gonna say Banksia spikeyfolia, but seems it's the other one . . . .

Banksia serrata has more saw toothed leaves and green underside of leaves.

Looks like Banksia integrifolia to me which has the silvery underside to the leaves. There are some forms that have spiky edges.

Or possibly B. marginata which has serrated juvenile foliage

Definitely Banksia integrifolia or the Coastal Banksia. It is the species B integrifolia var integrifolia. The spiky leaves are the juvenile leaf form but it will change as it gets older and become more smooth. Integrifolia means "entire"; i.e. smooth rather than spiky or serrated.

I've got a 15 ft tree like this in my front garden, it bears yellowish flowers or banksia men Is that the same, but the leaves remain sort of spiky?
