this little baby (actually not little at all and bl##dy heavy) came off a north Queensland beach, had to lug it quite some way, but the effort was worth it, makes a great display stand.

Reminds me a little of Pride Rock from the old classic The Lion King! Nice find!!

must admit it reminded me of pride rock as well , maybe because my daughter watches the lion king series over and over ( and over :palm: )

Just a response on the root over rock suggestion, this rock is 35kg!!
Add a tree and some dirt and a pot, then getting it around for repotting, maintenance work etc, whooee, no thanks.
It remains a viewing stone, albeit a big one, somewhere with the bonsai's or in the garden for its foreseeable future.
