Have you gone off the Elms? $30 would have secured you the pot and the front page of the Sunday paper.

Re: [Mojo Moyogi] Trident Maple #13
An update for this little tree now that it is bare.
Nothing has been done to the tree since the competition started. In the next month, some branch selection is on the cards. The plan from there is to bare root the tree and repot it into a colander as it buds out in late July/early August. The main issue with this tree over the last couple of years has been slow growth and weak shoots due to poor nutrition and confined roots. If I am to build any sort of convincing canopy in the time that this competition runs, I need this tree to move along steadily.
Other than that I have been contemplating a clockwise rotation for the tree to have the second trunk a little more concealed by the primary.
Cheers,
Mojo

Withdrawn. Will continue to develop in time period allocated outside of the competition. I really should have re-potted this tree a month ago, now I will probably drop it into a seed tray or something shallow to get the growth that this tree requires to be presentable.
Cheers,
Mojo
