This is the direction for this tree one of 3 I have worked on today. The idea is to go for more of a broom style so as to display the flowers as best as possible.

This has had a redesign because of the lack of taper in the trunk. After the re-pot it is putting on new growth. Over the next 3 months it should fill back out again.

December update.
Finding the old wood very brittle so it will be a slow project, depending on how much new growth their is over the summer.

Final Photos,
This tree will fill out and ramify more over the coming years but due to the pinching required to keep it small it may not flower. I may let it grow out to see whether it will.
