[ANBA] Melaleuca rhaphiophylla swamp paperbark

Pup Western Australia
This tree was collected fro a swamp in southern river a suburb of Perth in 2004 it has been trained since in a split trunk as this is how it was dug since.

It is 550mm high by 360mm wide in a Japanese pot the accent is a Boyra sphaerocephala (grass plant)

Very nice pup thanks for posting all these beauties they are all very inspirational .
I was just thinking most of your trees are collected and have only seen you develop a few small trees from air layer . I was just wondering what your views are on developing trees from layers compared to collecting.

I do have a few from air layers, and I feel it is a worthwhile exercise, some of the trees I have tried, did take longer than I thought but it was worth it.
