I am a great believer in accents BUT, as always there is one.

This accent is far too close to the main tree, and the stand is wrong it is higher than the slab that the main tree is on.

Cheers :) Pup

Firstly thankyou to Ausbonsai for allowing this contest.
Secondly, thankyou to the moderators that kept this site clean.
&
Mostly a big thankyou to the judges that have given up their time for us.

Now down to business. This deodara cedar has been lots of fun and I have been surprised at how resilient it is, and how it has grown and matured over the course of the contest.
Lots of branches have been removed, and much foliage has also been removed/reduced, and still this little darling continues to thrive and prosper.
The tree has had lots of wiring and branch repositioning, and some work on the roots (still a fair bit more needed on the roots but we are on the way). And the repot has made a big improvement.
The natural growing habit of this species of the foliage to hang a bit is its only negitive but the beautiful aged bark makes up for that small fault.
Anyway, hope you enjoy.
Cheers
