Depends on your level of confidence mate i can tell you to go out and spend a few hundred on a Japanese blak pine only to have it die because it gets cooked or you water it too much, trust me im a year in and im still very impatient when it comes to bonsai like anything once it becomes an obsession you dive head first and dont listen.
